I am contemporary landscape painter originally from Ireland now based in the crofting village of
Aird Uig on the west coast of the beautiful Isle of Lewis.

After graduating in Art & Design from the University of Ulster I moved to Newcastle-upon Tyne to complete a Post-graduate in Computer Applications in Art & Design. I worked for many years as Computer Graphics Technician at New College Durham, lecturing part-time and then later as a graphic designer in Newcastle before moving to Northumberland.
Many people will know me from Alnwick Playhouse where I worked for 16 years in various roles from box office to marketing & design and later managing the Playhouse Gallery part-time.
Over the past seven years I have been back developing my painting again, exploring new mediums and ways of working and progressing my ‘plein air’ pieces on a much larger scale. I now have a new studio space in Uig which I love very much.
I am happy to take commissions and have been lucky recently to work with a number of clients from across the UK, Ireland and the United States.
