Nicola Stevenson is a full-time contemporary landscape painter originally from Ireland

In 2021 she moved from Northumberland to the beautiful Isle of Lewis and now works 

from her studio, an old byre, in the crofting village of Aird Uig on the west coast

 

Nicola graduated in Art & Design from the University of Ulster and later

completed a Post-graduate in Computer Applications in Art & Design

After working in Design & Marketing for many years she has now returned to her first love painting

 

Working in oils, acrylics and mixed media she aims to capture a sense of the ever

changing beauty of the Island, a 360* view allowing the viewer to step inside the wild Hebridean landscape
